This is about a project that I’m truly proud of – Soulcare. It was an ambitious biofeedback devotional app that used biometric data to suggest daily devotions based on a user’s soul score.

The idea behind Soulcare was to create an app that would help people achieve inner peace, mindfulness, and a sense of well-being. Awesome, right?! The concept was a perfect fit for our team, which consisted of engineers and designers who shared a passion for creating meaningful and impactful digital products.

We knew that we had a challenging task ahead of us. We had just 6 weeks to turn this app from a concept into a fully functional product, which would normally take at least 12 weeks to accomplish. But at Wonder and Wander, were up for the challenge!

To make Soulcare a reality, we used a range of powerful tools and technologies!!!
We used  Sheety to create an API that cycled through 81 possible permutations to tie to a user’s soul score! On top of that we used Flutter to build natively compiled applications for mobile, web, and desktop from a single codebase. We also employed Swift for iOS development and Instabug for bug tracking and testing!

And what's truly amazing is that the inspiration for Soulcare came from a simple 4-minute video sent by a client!

The development process was intense, to say the least. We spent 3 days iterating on biometric data and devotional content, 3 weeks adapting wireframes for a watch app, and 3 months refining the app’s design. It required a great deal of dedication, creativity, and teamwork to bring Soulcare to life.

But despite the challenges, the end result was truly remarkable. We had created an app that could make a real difference in people’s lives. It was an app that could help users improve their mental and emotional health, find their inner balance, and achieve a greater sense of well-being.
